File recovery if file is duplicated ?

If the file that has an unreadable block is duplicated why do you try and recover it...why not just make it bad and re duplicate ?  Paying customer.

    I think we're talk about this through the support channel. If you need more info let me know.

    I guess the short story is that just because a file is duplicated doesn't mean that recovery is not useful. We can't know for sure how folder duplication will behave in every case, so we provide a recovery option to the user.

    We also don't want to automatically fix anything for the same reason.
