change from n40l (WHS2011) to n54l (2012 Essentials) and move entire pool

hi! currently running WHS2011 on HP n40l Microserver with Drivepool, and want to move the whole pool to the n54l server i just bought..
what's the process for this in order to keep the pool intact??

    Install DrivePool, move the disks over. Should recognize it right away. 

    At least, that's what happened for me between 2011 (DP v1.3) and 2012 Essentials (DP 2). Otherwise, use the util here: http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Utilities
  • i dont need to do anything special to the existing pool on the n40l?...does it matter whether or not i had duplication turned on for only some files?....the pool is made up of 2x3tb drives on the n40l

    Nope, shouldn't matter at all. It may need to reindex/remeasure, but other than that...
    I just moved from an HP MSS ex495 to a nice, high end system.  Installed the OS, installed StableBit, and when I plugged in my "pool drives", stablebit immediately recognized the old pool, and the "drive" appeared promptly.

    OH, and I have 7x 3TB Seagates that were/are in the pool.
