Cant copy files with a very long path into the pooled drive .

Hi,

im trying to copy this directory into my pooled drive . i get an error that i "chould not find this item" .

"C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\ Games\JumpStart Kids' Educational Superpack\Kindergarten\JumpStart Advanced Kindergarten Disc 2 - Animal Field Trip (4-6)\JumpStart Advanced Kindergarten Disc 2 - Animal Field Trip (4-6).uha

i think there is an issue with very long paths.

Windows paths are generally limited to around 260 characters. DrivePool paths are limited to around 180 characters. Future versions will make an effort to support up to 32,767 character long path names.

This is not as simple as it sounds, the .NET Framework for example has the same issues:

It will be fixed before going final.

thanks , the latest beta fixed the long path issue for me . i can copy the files that were giving me problems before.

Make sure the files are actually there.

I think there might still be a bug there, it's on the todo list for the next build.
