Thank you,

Drive pool locations

edited February 2012 in DrivePool

Hello everyone, I upgraded to m4 a while back and just noticed something on my d: drive, i seem to have a folder called.

PoolPart.526cb5d0-a89b-4bde-854b-c18b9c8a98bd

Is this a legacy left behind by m3 and can be moved or deleted of this drive, I was under the impression m4 redesigned how it was working and shifted things to c: drive instead?

Anyone know or can explain if this is still required?

  • That's where your data is stored in M4. Although a new "virtual" drive is created (not C drive, it will have another new drive letter) that appears to contain all the files, the files themselves still need to be stored on your existing data drives (D etc) in root folders created and managed by DrivePool. These all start with "PoolPart".

So in summary - don't delete or move these!
