Hi everyone,
just been through an attempt to direct access drives on Promise SATA300 TX4 IDE Controller, and RocketRAID 2320 SATA Controller. Alex has supported me all the way and concludes that there are no way to access the drives on these controllers.
Considering replacing the above controllers with two 8-port SATA Supermicro controllers and had hoped that someone out there have experience with that unit, in particular getting the SMART data from attached drives.
