Simply, scanner reported unreadable sectors on the system drive. Took it out and ran diag on it and it was indeed bad. Replaced it with a drive that scanner reported healthy. Scanner would not scan the new drive. Only when I changed the scan duration would it scan. It reported the same unreadable sectors. On top of that, the last scan date is 3-27, but if you hover your mouse at the bad sectors, it says last scanned on 3-16...which is the last date I ran scanner on the bad drive! Any ideas?
