Thank you,

Does duplication differentiate between physical drives and partitions?

edited April 2013 in DrivePool
I am about to finally upgrade my WHS v1 to 2011.  I have a new 3TB drive to add to my pool, but it looks like I will need to partition it.  If I enable duplication within the pool, will DrivePool know that the two partitions are on the same physical drive and not see them as two separate drives for duplication purposes?  Otherwise the purpose of duplication would be defeated...

Comments

  • Nevermind - just saw the fixed post (don't know how I missed it earlier) about DrivePool and Partitions that answers the question.  My bad.
