Thank you,
I have the basic folder structure that is supplied with WHS 2011.
Inside the Videos folder I have added more folders.
Inside the Films folder I have folders for each letter of the alphabet.
When trying to rename some of these folders via a client machine (Win 7 64 Ultmi) using the SMB share, the folders don't get renamed, a duplicate folder is created with the new desired name which also has duplicate contents of the original folder.
By deleting either of these folders (letter of the alphabet) and contents, the other still remains with the duplicate folders/files.
This confuses me because the duplication/copy happens instantly, giving the impression that nothing has actually been copied. However, if I delete the original folder the films in the newly created folder still play.
My only intention is to rename the folders.
