Permissions

edited March 2011 in DrivePool
Hello, I have question about how permissions are set.
Whs itself creates a share with everyone full access and then uses folder level ntfs permissions.
Stablebit drivepool seems to create a share and sets permission at that level and adds the default user group at folder level with read/write permission.

Will this stay as it is now or will it change to the way whs itself sets the permissions?

Cheers,

Danee

NTFS-like permissions are implemented but disabled to make things simpler for the current round of testing. As DrivePool is integrated with remote access and media streaming, chances are NTFS-like permissions will be enabled.
