Thank you,

Unable to move folder to pool

edited October 2011 in DrivePool
Running build: 4074 on WHS 2011

I'm trying to move a share to the pool, but it failes with the following error:

Cannot move folder
The system cannot find the path specified (File D:\ServerFolders\Documents\PAKS Consultin\Sitebackup\blog.codewrench.net\wp-content\plugins\deans-fckedit-with-pwwangs-code-plugin-for-wordpress\fckeditor\editor\dialog\fck_splellerpages\spellerpages\server\scripts\)

I assume it's because of the incredible long path. But any valid share path should also be able to be added to a pool, should it not? If the maximum "pool path" is less then maximum "normal" path (because of the GUID being appended) then we have a problem Houston!

Also. The error caused a roll-back. But according to the SB add-in the share was still in the pool. Testing \\server\share only some of the files were there. I had to manually copy the rest from the old location (d:\SharedFolders\Documents). The rollback did not remove the drive from the pool and rollback to the old share.
