Thank you,

Problem removing drive from pool

edited February 2012 in DrivePool
I have solved the issue, but it was a lucky guess after many other tries.  The problem happens when you have drive pool, iTunes, and the iHomeServer plugin installed.  If you have the iTunes service running through iHomeServer, and the iTunes library is on the pooled drive, the removal process errors out and said it is unable to removed because a process is using the drive.  I tried many other things, and I just happened to guess at this possibility.

This isn't necessarily a bug, but would there be a way to have more information on WHY the removal failed?  To use my case as an example, when it told me that there was an error, and it was because a service was using the drive, could you list the service?  That way I could go straight to the point instead of trying one thing after another to get it to work??
