Thank you,

missing disk question

edited February 2012 in DrivePool
On a server shut reboot (with some swapping, moving of drives while shut down) I accidentally rebooted the server with one of my pool disks unplugged.  Of course DP reported the drive as missing.   I plugged the drive in, and was expecting DP to recognize it and take care of it.   It did not, but listed the drive as available, but still missing from the pool (and I did not see an option for "reconnecting" a drive).

I rebooted the server, and the pool is fine now, but the alert for a missing disk is still there (even after a "re-evaluation" of the alerts).

Will this go away?  Is there something else I need to do?   Was there a way to reconnect this disk w/o a restart?

Thanks!
