Thank you,

Creating a folder outside ServerFolders ok?

edited May 2012 in DrivePool
Am I safe to create my own folders on the root of the pool drive, outside the ServerFolders folder?

I've tried it and it seems to work, with the folder appearing on one of the pool drives.  I obviously have no way of enabling duplication for such a folder but, provided I don't need that, will it work ok?

    Hi Toby, it'll work fine.

However, it is possible to alter duplication for such a folder - share it via "Add a folder", then "Change duplication", then "Stop sharing the folder". It'll keep whatever duplication status you set.
