unable to upgrade, re-install

edited December 2012 in DrivePool
tried to upgrade to latest version but got message like "Failed to install" so I removed from dashboard and it dissappeard from add in list but not from dashboard tabs, but would not work. A re-install ends with unable to install on server. I have now removed all mentions of drivepool from everywhere but am still unable to install. Any Ideas?

  • Usual steps to fix a broken install.

    1) Uninstall from Dashboard.
    2) Make sure its gone from Control Panel, Programs and Features.
    3) Set Folder options to show hidden files and delete the StableBitDrivePool folder inside C:\ProgramData.
    4) Reboot and reinstall.
