edited February 2013 in DrivePool

Hello,

I am a new user of DrivePool and hope to get some advice on what is going on.

I am moving from WHSv1 and about to get DrivePool going on Windows 7.

I created a pool and a number of shared folders and moved data into them. DP reported a missing disk and I decided to start all over. Possibly not the best choice. I moved all data out of the pool the pool, deleted the PoolPart directories and uninstalled DP.

Installing again I get the message the "One or more disks are disconnected from the pool", but no such error indication in the UI panel as I had the first time. I also do not get one of the disks reported. Windows reports it as present, but it does not appear in the Disks/Non-pooled section in the UI.

What to do?

Hi hauge48, to start completely from scratch, in addition to uninstalling DrivePool and deleting the PoolPart directories, you may need to delete the "C:\ProgramData\StableBit DrivePool" directory.
