Unable to remove drive from pool

I have been trying to remove a drive from the pool, but have been unsuccessful. The message that ultimately appears is ambiguous and doesn't necessarily give good details as to why. I will post the message when the error happens again (currently trying to go the remove again, for the 4th time).

Any have any ideas? Is there another log that I can review for further details?

    Are you running the latest version? There have been fixes to drive-removal in the last few versions.

    I am currently running 1.0.0.5974.

    I know there is a newer release out there, but am unsure how I should go about doing an update. Do I merely install over the currently installed version?

    Yes, you simply install the new version over the old. No need to uninstall the previous version. You will need to reboot the server after the upgrade.
