Drives Still Visible in Windows?

edited May 2012 in DrivePool
I'm a new user, to Drive Pool and using it on a NAS. I have become completely overwhelmed trying to understand all the different RAID options and decided to just try and stick with Drive Pool for right now. So, anyhow, I successfully set up Drive Pool to my WHS but when I go to My Computer, Windows is still showing my physical drives in addition to the drive pool. Is this how it is supposed to look, or are my physical drives supposed to only appear as the 1 pooled drive?

DP doesn't hide your physical drives when it creates the pool. If you want to hid them you have 2 solutions:

1 - remove the drive letter by using Windows Disk Management

2 - If you want to still have access to the physical drive but do not want to see them, Convert them to mount points (this is also done in Disk Management)
