I had been using v1 for many years now and last week my system drive failed so I decided that since I was replacing the drive I might as well upgrade to WHS 2011 and check our drivepool. I loaded everything up and then started putting my drives into an external sata caddie so I could begin transferring everything over to the new pool. I am now running into all sorts of file and folder permission issues where I cannot transfer files to specific shares. If I check the properties of the shares I do not see any of the users I have added through the dashboard in the security permissions and if i try to add them I get an access is denied error.
I also attempted to change the owner and reset permissions as this thread mentions: http://forum.covecube.com/discussion/574 but that tells me the same thing.
What do I do now?
Edit: It appears like I can change permissions to individual folders on individual drives but not the folders on the pool drive.
