Problems Removing Drive From Pool

I have a 3TB WD Green drive that is causing me some problems.  It intermittedly shuts down and does not always power back up.  I want to remove it from the pool but after a few minutes in the process I get the msg " Drive not removed from Pool.  Access Denied".  I was able to removed the smaller 1TB partition with no problems but have had no success with the 2TB partition.

Any ideas?

    Hi, if you've got what you need (or all that you can get) off the drive already, remove it physically from the machine before using the Dashboard to remove it from the pool; you'll be given the option to cut it from the pool without DP attempting the normal file migration process.

    Sorry for the delay, I've been busy and my machine got fried by lightning. Better it than me. :)
