Thank you,

Trial licence to Beta

edited December 2012 in DrivePool
I had the latest release installed. It was still running as a trial. Before buying a licence, I decided to try the beta out for the multiple pool features. How does the licence work for this? Will the trial still end in the 2.6 days it says I have left? e.g. Will I have to buy a full licence whilst using a beta version? Thanks.

While hopefully someone on the forums can answer you, I'd suggest also asking Stablebit directly via http://stablebit.com/contact

You could also install the 1.3 beta, see if it affects the remaining time, and then uninstall and go back to 1.2 stable if you wanted - it should work so long as you only have one pool when you go back (remember to reboot after installing and after uninstalling; some people have also had to clean the c:\programdata\stablebitdrivepool folder when reverting from a beta, please feel free to ask for help if you do run into any problems).
  • Thanks Shane. I installed the 1.3 beta but the time remained remained the same.
