DrivePool 1.2.3.7217 Pie Chart

edited December 2012 in DrivePool
I noticed that the DrivePool pie chart does not depict unduplicated files in the pool size.  It only shows the total pool size of files that are duplicated. It seems to me that the chart should show the total size of pooled files, duplicated or not.  Example attached.

Hi ove1. That's because yes, it actually should be showing the total size of your pooled files (before duplication) as well as how much is used by any duplication. Something's not working as intended. Is this a brand new install, an upgrade from the previous stable release, or something else?

Could you try manually remeasuring the pool (go to the Dashboard's "Server Folders and Hard Drives", select the "Pool" tab, select your Pool drive, then click "Remeasure" in the tasks pane)?
  • Hi Shane. Thanks for your response. Yes, it is a brand new installation of WHS 2011 and DrivePool on a server formerly running WHS v1. However, after running a couple of days, the pie chart was still not displaying unduplicated usage.

I think after I manually ran 'Check Duplication Consistancy', the pie chart started displaying correctly. After running 'Remeasure' as you suggested, it is still displaying correctly.  Maybe LightsOut turned the system off before it could automatically update? The system is usually off after about 11-12 PM until the backup window at 5-7 AM. In any event, all is well now.
