Thank you,

Symbolic links

edited February 2013 in DrivePool
Due to low space on the C:-drive I created a folder on my drive pool and made a symbolic link from a folder on C: to J: (DP) via mklink.
Seemed to work fine until I tried to remove the link again. The server blue-screens every time I try to remove the symbolic link.

Are symbolic links supposed to work or should I stay away? (btw I have DP report as ntfs).

Symbolic links are not supported. But it should definitely not blue screen. Sounds like something needs to be fixed.

    Which build number is this?

    I'm running 1.3.7336.

Luckily I managed to boot in Safe Mode and remove the links. Now there server is stable again. The "bluescreen error" was in ntfs.sys
