Thank you,

scanner can't read SMART data

edited March 2013 in Scanner

I have an LSI 9207-8 SAS/SATA PCIe host adapter card that has two 2TB disks attached.

StableBit scanner says S.M.A.R.T. and temperature data are not available for those drives.

My OS boot drive is directly attached to a motherboard SATA port and it works fine.

Any thoughts?  Is it a limitation of the adapter card?

Thanks!
