This is a noob question, but I can't seem to find an answer: I'm trying out DrivePool on a WS2012e install. So far so good, but I was wondering if I wanted to keep some server shares (such as client backup) writing directly to one of the pooled drives, would that be problematic? Here's what I mean for clarification:
is my DrivePool, consisting of physical drives E:, F: and G:.
is my DrivePool, consisting of physical drives E:, F: and G:.I keep most of my server shares in , however, I want to have some (like client backup), pointing directly to E, bypassing the pool. Is this possible or advisable? Will the DrivePool balancing move files away from E: as it fills up with non-pooled files?
