Thank you,

Pool Usage %s

edited August 2011 in DrivePool

I currently have 2 drives in the pool (w/ capacities of 1.76 TB and 699GB).

When first going into the Hard Drive Pooling Tab, the Pool Usage shows :

Pooled Files :1.62TB

Protected Free Space : 723GB

& the pie chart shows 70% (Pooled Files) & 30% Protected Free Space

so far so good.

However, when I click on one of the drives in the pool (1.g. 1,76TB) , it shows :

Unduplicated Files : 1.30TB

Free Space : 357GB

Other 1.41 TB

and a very strange looking pie chart which shows 73.9%, 80.2% and 19.8%

2nd drive shows a similar anomoly with Unduplicated 342GB - 48.9%, Free Space 356 GB - 51% and Other 343 GB - 49%

What is "Other"

Is anyone else seeing this?

Other is supposed to be everything else, such as un-pooled files and NTFS metadata. Based on your description it might not be calculated correctly?

    I'll have a look.

There was a small bug there. Fixed.
