  • Yes, I've seen this partial listing behavior on my Mac server, when trying to browse the WHS share.  Turning off Fast Directory fixed this.
  • I get this error every time I try and rip a dvd using dvdshrink directly to a network share.  If I rip to my local machine, and copy the directory it works fine, but if I rip directly, it fails.  Reboot doesn't fix the problem.
  • Why not offer a separate 'removal tool'? I remember the days when I used Norton software: Symantec had such a download on their website to remove all traces of an install. Seems like the perfect option.  It's not something that would be regularly …
  • Since all crashplan is doing is READING from the shares, there shouldn't be a problem with pointing directly to the c:\serverpool\serverfolders.mount\ directories.  The problem mentioned above by Alex was when applications were WRITING directly to t…
  • Also, just FYI, this issue was a symptom of M2 to M3 upgrade path only...  If you are building from scratch, and installing direct to M3, you won't have this issue.
  • I've just upgraded my primary server to M3 (3026 build) and have the same issue.  WHS2011 default shares show under WHS tab, and DrivePool tab, but no other "custom" shares show under the dashboard, though they are accessible just fine via UNC path.…
  • One change/addition I'd like to see:On the DrivePool tab, the shared folders page.  There are pie charts for each folder, if you select them, but when you select nothing, there's no pie chart at all.  I'd like to see this show an overall pie chart, …
  • DOH, didn't notice that you were still on M2.  The additional .mount folder is created as part of the M3 build.
  • Yea, you should see TWO directories now, under c:\serverpool:c:\serverpool\serverfolders (this is the old directory that shares were created under)c:\serverpool\serverfolders.mount (my understanding is this is a new directory that will be used going…
  • Maybe try pointing to the c:\serverpool\serverfolders.mount\?  Alex mentioned that the .mount is the point we should be pointing to now...  Only thing I can think of.
  • Interesting...  It sounds like a problem with the local run application seeing the shared folders...Do you point metabrowser to the local c:\serverpool\serverfolders\ or to the unc share \\\\?Whichever you're currently using, you might want to add t…
  • I'm running MB on a Win7Pro desktop.  It points across the net to my shared whs2011 folder.   Also, I don't run it constantly; I run MB when I need to add new movies, then shut it back down again.  It DOES see the new movie folders though, once it's…
  • I'm running v9.02.09 of metabrowser on my desktop, pointing to my WHS2011 box running the last M2 of DrivePool, and I don't have any problems with metabrowser updating. Now, I don't run metabrowser on the whs2011 box, I run it on a desktop and point …
