mcakins, This is for WHS v1. All operations are always in read-only. StableBit Scanner never writes to your disk in raw mode. AlanS, I'm looking into this.

The latest build as of today, build 2351 makes some changes to prevent Direct I/O from badly interacting with drivers, which may remedy your situation. I'll keep a lookout for this in the future.
